a bit about me,
I was born and raised in St. Louis, MO with my three other siblings and our beloved golden retrievers. Growing up, I was always creative for which I credit my mom who can sew just about anything, and who I still regularly call up with requests. While I’ve always creative, I must admit, my love for art originally grew out of competition with my older sister who was(and is) an incredibly gifted artist. As all younger siblings would agree, it just wasn’t an option for her to ‘beat me’. While the ongoing competition was unbeknownst to my sister, the countless hours I spent practicing grew into a real love for depicting the world around me.
I went on to graduate from Samford University with a BFA in Interior Architecture and a minor in Fine Art. I found myself well immersed in both the art and design world, and felt drawn to both industries. While struggling to decide between the two paths, I was introduced to Art Consulting as a profession through a mutual friend. Art Consulting in the Hospitality industry has quickly become the perfect bridge to both interior design and the art world. I’ll be forever grateful for my company who has welcomed me and fully immersed me in such a fun and creative industry!
I now reside in Atlanta, GA with my husband(new title as of September 21st!) and have quickly fallen in love with Georgia. When I’m not painting or traveling to a new city for work, I’m most likely hanging with him! He keeps me up to date on all things sports, keeps me laughing, and encourages me to paint more than anyone.
I hope through my paintings to capture a feeling and a memory that resonates with you. Painting has allowed me the honor of capturing the big and small moments in so many lives. I feel so grateful to be entrusted with depicting your loved ones, family homes, pets, favorite places, and more. I will forever be inspired by color, pattern, art history, and those around me. No matter the subject, I paint to find a balance of realism combined with loose abstraction, causing one to compliment the other and leave a lasting, authentic impression.
I am so grateful for the connections this passion has brought me, and I hope to get to know you soon!
